wait a minuet

so since my yarn extravaganza in march i have been very very very good about my spending on knitting and have not parted with one red cent. Instead i have been taking advantage of my knitwars participation and have been "earning" gold to throw into my initial -600 deficit. I have been working my ass off to earn these points and i was getting all excited because i am up to -200 now. but then it dawned on me, perhaps instead of just worrying about the amount spent, perhaps i need to focus on knitting up more of the yarn i bought first...scary thought as so far i have maybe 1 skein almost done from that whole giant purchase and i went through 1 other ball that was purchased before...maybe i should just forget this brilliant thought of mine except that i have a huge neon pink hamper full of yarn from the blow out weekend that is just sitting there and mocking me
